In an interview with Sport, Exum talked about his decision to sign with the Catalan club, the adaptation process, and what could be his future.

"It was a great decision to come here, playing in the ACB League and against big teams like Madrid… I am enjoying this experience a lot," said Exum.

"I came with no idea of what I would find, and since the first day, everyone helped me. I was like one of them. My teammates, the staff… they made my life easier," continued the Aussie.

However, Exum did not hide that he struggled a bit with the European basketball style.

"One of the main differences between Europe and the NBA is the low-post. Here it's more common to take advantage of it. Centers have more usage. I needed to copy that. The pace is slower, but I like it too," explained Exum.

One of the most surprising things for Barcelona's newcomer was the atmosphere in some arenas.

"I remember when we played in Belgrade that I could not stop looking at every single corner. People were crazy. I did not see something like that. I was not used, and I love it".

Asked about his future, Exum did not want to reveal it yet.

"I have two or three weeks more to decide either if I will stay here or leave. I can only say that the decision has not been made yet.

I love the city, the food, going out shopping… If I have the opportunity to go to the NBA, I will take it, but it should be the appropriate one," he concluded.
