The Toronto Raptors are trading the Slovenian guard Goran Dragic in exchange for Thaddeus Young of the San Antonio Spurs, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Dragic stepped away from the Raptors due to personal reasons. It was previously reported that the Canadian team will try to trade Dragic before the deadline.
However, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that Dragic will likely not stick around in San Antonio, as the Spurts are expected to negotiate a buyout for him. He also reports that the Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Clippers are potential suitors.
The Raptors will receive another veteran in his place. 34-year-old Thaddeus Young has been averaging 6.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists over 26 games for the Spurs.
With 30 wins and 23 losses, the Raptors are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference. On the other end, the Spurs are out of the playoff picture with 20 wins and 35 losses, ranking 13th in the West.
