After last night's loss against the Miami Heat, in which he scored 29 points, Kyrie Irving had a tense back and forth with the reporters in the post-game conference about his position on the vaccine and his inability to play the home games.

"There's no guilt I feel", Irving said. "C'mon now, c'mon now puppeteers, don't bring your personal emotions in here. Play your media games with somebody else, please. I'm the only player that has to deal with this because I play here in New York. If I was anywhere else, then it probably wouldn't be the same circumstances".
Due to the vaccination rules in the state of New York, Irving, who isn't vaccinated, cannot play the home games of the Brooklyn Nets and he's only allowed to play on the road.
So far, this has been an important limitation for the Nets' roster. The team is now without Kevin Durant, who's still recovering from a knee injury, and they just traded James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers, receiving Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, and Andre Drummond in exchange.
