Bulls waive Goran Dragic
The Chicago Bullls announcedthat they have waived veteran guard Goran Dragic.
The 36-year-old has signed a one-year deal for the minimumsalary last summer and played in 51 games, averaging 6.4 points,2.7 assists and 1.4 rebounds. But once the team signed PatrickBeverely, Dragic was the odd man out of the rotation.
Dragic will be playoff-eligible if he signs with another teambetween not and the last day of the regular season ince he waswaived before March 1. He could also be claimed on waivers with ateam having to take on $1.84 million hit against the salarycap.
Meanwhile, the Bulls open up a roster spot and are $1.2 millionbelow the luxuy tax.
