Full message:
"I want to especially thank the owners of Maccabi Tel Aviv for giving me the opportunity to coach this legendary club. I want to thank all the players that I coached over the past four seasons for their cooperation.
I would also like to thank the management, the coaches, the members of the staff, and the people in the offices of Maccabi for the great working relationship we had. I only made friends in Maccabi.
Last, but not least, I want to thank each and every one of the fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv for all the love that they showed me. These moments of love will always live in a very special place in my heart.
Unfortunately, we did not perform well as of late, even though we tried to lift our team off a difficult situation. I am leaving the club that I love, knowing that I worked these past four seasons having embraced and showcased the 'Maccabist Mentality' and the fighting spirit that characterizes this club. Working with a lot of respect, pride, dignity, and great professionalism.
Good luck to everybody in the club of Maccabi for the road ahead."
