Gary Trent Jr. scored 30 points and made five shots from beyond the arc, and the Toronto Raptors rallied for a 103-91 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night in Minneapolis.

Pascal Siakam added 17 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for Toronto, which snapped a two-game skid. Precious Achiuwa (11 points) and Thaddeus Young (10) scored in double digits off the bench.

Karl-Anthony Towns had 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead Minnesota, which lost for the first time in three games. Jaden McDaniels scored 18 points off the bench while shooting 6 of 13 from the field.

The Raptors outscored the Timberwolves 31-17 in the fourth quarter.

Toronto opened the final quarter on a 15-4 run to grab an 87-78 lead with 7:45 left. Chris Boucher and Achiuwa hit back-to-back 3-pointers during the run, which also included a pair of layups by Young.

The Timberwolves led 74-72 at the end of the third quarter. Toronto never led during the quarter but closed the gap to two in the final 1:10 on baskets by Achiuwa and Trent.

Minnesota led 51-49 at the half.

The Raptors jumped to a 24-11 lead in the first 6 1/2 minutes. That included an 11-0 run for the Raptors, which was punctuated by a steal and a dunk by Scottie Barnes.

Minnesota responded with an 8-0 run to pull back within five points. McDaniels and Malik Beasley made 3-pointers during the run, which also included two free throws by Towns.

Toronto stretched its lead to nine on a layup by Trent with 9:46 remaining in the first half.

The Timberwolves outscored the Raptors 24-13 for the rest of the half to take a two-point lead.

Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, who was listed as questionable because of an ankle injury that he suffered one night earlier, remained in the starting lineup and played through pain. But the injury appeared to affect his performance, as he shot 0-for-8 from the field and 0-for-5 from 3-point range.
