Several dozens of Partizan NIS Belgrade fans made a surprise at the final practice of the club before the trip to Radivoje Korac Cup to Nis.

They were waiting for their heroes at the Pionir hall to make it clear to Zeljko Obradovic's team that they will have great support in the Chair Hall from Friday to Sunday.

With the song "Wherever you play ..." ("Gde god ti da igraš ..."), the supporters of the club tried to give extra energy to the players and members of the professional staff, in order to continue the success in Nis, where they celebrated during the previous three finals of the cup.

Last year's cup was held in Novi Sad, where Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade became the champions.

In the quarterfinal, Partizan will play against Borac. Partizan are big favorites, however, Zeljko Obradovic emphasized the meaning of respect for the opponent.

"The cup is a specific competition; it requires that each opponent should be totally respected," said Obradovic before the trip to Nis. "That is how we will approach the match against Borac. We analyzed their game, of course, we want to qualify for the semifinals."

"That is the only goal we have. We did good scouting, as my assistants always do, we prepared the players for that game, and we hope that we will be the ones who will play in the semifinals on Saturday," he added.

Partizan is in a run of three consecutive victories. In the ABA league, they managed to overcome Borac and FMP teams, while in the EuroCup, they defeated Andorra.

For Partizan, the third competition of the season begins on Friday at 9 pm CET.

"It is always nice when a team that is not in the highest position gets a place in the Korac Cup," said Partizan's captain Rade Zagorac. "I am glad that it is Borac from Zemun, which deservedly reached the final tournament."

"They have a respectable team, with a good coach Sinisa Matic, players who used to play at a high level and a lot of young basketball players. We approach that match without any underestimation. We hope that we will solve it in our favor with a serious approach and energy from the very beginning," Zagorac concluded.
