The first semifinal of the Turkish Cup between EuroLeague side Fenerbahce Beko and Champions League team Galatasaray was full of emotions and drama. In the third quarter, the game was interrupted for almost an hour and the stands were emptied because of poor behaviors from the fans.

In the end, though, Fenerbahce won the game without too many issues with the final score of 64-49 (20-18, 16-13, 12-8, 16-10).

In the final quarter, coach Djordjevic's side kept Galatasaray's offense stagnant and with the help of Marko Guduric and Devin Booker was able to win the game despite all the drama of the third quarter. Dee Bost of Galatasaray was ejected in the last minute of the game with a double technical foul.

The game restarted after almost an hour, with the stands completely empty. Fener was up by 9 points before the game was interrupted and even after the restart of the game they never lost control of the game.

In the second half, the atmosphere inside the arena started to become a little too tense. Supporters from both teams started to sing offensive chants, while some firecrackers were also thrown into the court. It was decided to empty the arena from the fans after several warnings went unnoticed.

In the first half, Fenerbahce led the rhythm of the game but without being able to create a big lead. Mahmutoglu and Devin Booker both contributed with 7 points. The team coached by Sasha Djordjevic led by 5 at halftime (36-31).
