"Returning to Cleveland? The door is not closed on that", James said to The Athletic. "I'm not saying I'm coming back and playing, I don't know, I don't know what my future holds".
The Los Angeles Lakers star praised the work that Cavs' front office did in the last few years, which turned the team into a playoff contender.
"I think that Koby Altman and the other guys have done an unbelievable job drafting and making trades. I think that Allen acquisition was amazing for them, of course, Darius Garland is a big-time player, and I think the role that Kevin Love is playing has kind of uplifted those young guys", James said.
James also specified, though, that he wants to play his last season in the league for whichever team his son will be in.
