"Somebody needs to really check, but I believe for sure I had more than 50 finals.Maybeclose to 60. Maybe more than 60. I don't know, really," Obradovic made some journalists smile.
The nine-time EuroLeague champion was right. Zeljko already participated in at least 63 finals.
A 61-year-old Obradovic has an impressive winning record.
In 63 finals, including national team competitions, international tournaments, domestic championships, cups, or super cups, Obradovic lifted the trophy 44 times (69.8%).
Obradovic also won 28 of 42 single-game finals (66,6%).
On Sunday, the upcoming Serbian Cup final against Crvena Zvezda Belgrade will be his 64th, but the motivation didn't change.
"It's the same. Motivation is the same. Maybe even more now than ever before," he said to BasketNews on Saturday.
