Zalgiris Kaunas announced that they organized a discussion with the EuroLeague board to evaluate the current situation.

"We're already discussing the situation with some clubs. The united decision by the EuroLeague is essential right now," Zalgiris announced in a statement.

The uncertain situation recently put FC Barcelona's trip to Russia in the air.

Barca faces Zenit in Saint Petersburg on February 25 and CSKA in Moscow on February 27.

Finally, Barcelona was allowed to travel to Russia, sources confirmed BasketNews. EuroLeague decided that all games that include Russian teams will be played as scheduled until further notice.

EuroLeague will follow the official orders of leading European authorities.

Western countries are preparing a package of massive sanctions, including the possible closure of Russian airspace that would impact international flights to or from Russia.

Barcelona's Alex Abrines has already expressed his position regarding the trip to Russia.

"Well, I don't feel like traveling to Russia today..." Abrines wrote on his Twitter account.
