After the loss against ALBA Berlin, ASVEL president Tony Parker clarified the position of the French club regarding the war happening in Ukraine.

ASVEL was supposed to play against UNICS Kazan on March 3 but Parker said that his team won't travel to Russia.
"We won't go to Russia next week. I already said to the players and the staff that we won't make the trip", Parker said. "This goes beyond sport. We cannot accept the situation, it's completely opposite to our values. Sending our team to Russia is absolutely out of question".
EuroLeague will have an emergency meeting tomorrow to decide how to proceed in the current situation. Zalgiris Kaunas already announced that they won't play the remaining regular-season games that they were supposed to play against Russian teams.
