Tarik Black penned a deal with Bahcesehir College of the Turkish Basketball League.
The 30-year-old recently played in the NBA G League, representing the Grand Rapids Gold jersey, despite signing with the Denver Nuggets on September 27, 2021.
He averaged 11.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists over 15 games.
At this moment, Black is representing the USA World Cup Qualifying Team. In the first match of this FIBA window, he posted 2 points and 3 rebounds in a win against Puerto Rico.
Tarik Black also has NBA and EuroLeague experience. He finished the 2020-21 season with Zenit, reaching the EuroLeague playoffs. The 2.05-meter big man registered 5.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 15 minutes over seven EuroLeague contests.
Prior to Zenit, Black played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, posting 11.0 points and 5.4 rebounds during the 2018-2019 season and 9.1 points on 61.8% two-point shooting plus 4.8 rebounds in 11 EuroLeague games in the 2019-20 campaign, which was cut short for him due to injury and for all teams involved because of the pandemic.
