After having a limited role in Anadolu Efes Istanbul last season, the 22-year-old has been explosive this campaign. He is the up-front MVP runner in the ACB League, averaging 19.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 22.2 PIR over 19 games (32 minutes).

Musa was selected with the 29th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets but his time across the Atlantic was quiet.

He split time between the strongest basketball league and G League, holding NBA career averages of 4.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 49 duels.

However, according to his countryman Mirza Teletovic, Musa should be given another opportunity in the NBA.

"Dzanan is a great talent, who has already done some nice things in his career. He may have gone to the NBA too soon and been burned, but I believe he will return to the US soon because he just needed more experience and more games," Teletovic said in the interview with Israel Hayom.

The six-year NBA player also added: "Dzanan saw what he was missing and now he is working on it in Europe. With his experience, knowledge, quality, and strong desire to learn, I believe we will see him dribble there again. He must be patient and go step by step and he is guaranteed a bright future because he has the leader's qualities and everything it takes to be successful."
