The Kings were up by 19 points early in the third quarter but gave all that back and more as San Antonio rallied to take a 103-99 lead on a layup by Tre Jones with 4:04 to play.

Sacramento went back in front on a free throw by Dante DiVincenzo with 2:32 left and expanded its advantage to five points on a pair of foul shots from Domantas Sabonis and a layup by Barnes, the latter of which ended a 9-0 run.

A free throw by Lonnie Walker IV with one minute to play cut into the lead. After both teams missed shots, DiVincenzo canned two more free throws with 24.6 seconds to play, and the Kings were able to hold on.

Sabonis had 12 points and 12 rebounds before fouling out in the final minute while Justin Holiday also had 12 points, DiVincenzo scored 11 and Damian Jones had 10 for the Kings, who rebounded from a 30-point loss Wednesday in New Orleans.

Walker had a season-best 30 points to lead the Spurs, who have lost three straight games. Dejounte Murray added 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, with Jakob Poeltl scoring 16 and Devin Vassell tallying 14.

The loss kept Spurs coach Gregg Popovich at 1,334 wins, one behind Don Nelson for the record for all-time victories by an NBA coach.

The Kings forged a 30-27 lead after the first 12 minutes, and Fox and Barnes carried Sacramento into the second period as the Kings led 57-46 at the 6:56 mark.

Walker kept the Spurs close, scoring 14 of San Antonio's 16 points over a stretch ending with 4:31 to play in the period but Sacramento held onto the lead. The Kings scored the final seven points of the half and took a 64-51 advantage to the break.

Walker led all scorers with 22 points in the half, with Murray adding 11 points and taking seven rebounds. Fox paced Sacramento with 15 points and eight assists by halftime while Barnes hit for 13 points and Sabonis grabbed eight rebounds.
