Nikola Jokic is one the premiere superstars in the NBA, showing flashes of excellence in almost every game. He's been getting praise ever since he got to the league. Now, former Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl, who is 6th on the all-time winningest coaches list, complimented the center.

"There have been some Nuggets greats - Bobby Jones, David Thompson, Alex English, Mutombo, Melo. Jokic is the best," the legendary coach tweeted after the game.

Jokic has been averaging 25.4 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game for the Nuggets this season. He became the MVP of the league for the first time last season.

In his last game, an OT win against the New Orleans Pelicans, Jokic scored a historic triple-double. He notched 46 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists with 3 steals and 4 blocks. It was the first time in NBA history a player recorded 40+ points, 10+ rebounds, 10+ assists, 3+ steals and 3+ blocks in a game, since steals and blocks were first tracked in 1973-74.
