Sasha Vezenkov's 3-pointer cut Olympiacos' deficit to four in the final quarter (64-68), but Maodo Lo nailed a 3-pointer, Jaleen Smith added a deep shot of his own, and ALBA pulled away by 12 (78-66).

Lo converted his fifth 3-pointer at the end, helping ALBA increase their lead to as many as 17 points (85-68). The Germans came away with a 15-point win.

Lo finished with a career-high in scoring and tied his most efficient game. He had 27 points (5/6 2PT, 5/6 3PT, 2/2 FT), 7 assists, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, 3 turnovers, and 34 PIR.

"This is a huge win for us against Olympiacos, such a high-caliber team playing very well this season," Lo said. "I am very happy that we were able to play with energy, with pace, and, at the end, we were rewarded. We were able to play with energy, and it is a great win for us. Everything jelled today, it was a great win for us."

Sasha Vezenkov was the leader for Olympiacos, contributing 19 points (6/6 2PT, 2/4 3PT, 1/2 FT), 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals, 1 turnover, and 29 PIR.

"Let's say we have to analyze this game because our defense was really terrible," coach Bartzokas admitted. "Of course, ALBA played excellent, they had a really fantastic percentage for threes. But they deserved to win the way they played. We need to look at ourselves about our defensive effort today."

After a tight first quarter, Olympiacos gained a narrow advantage in the second (28-24). However, Maodo Lo led ALBA to a 13-2 run to end the first half and help ALBA get in front by seven (37-30).

The visitors started the second half well, as Sasha Vezenkov let Olympiacos regain a narrow advantage (40-39), but ALBA responded with a 16-6 run to go up by nine (55-46). They were up by six going into the final period (57-51).
