The press release doesn't specify which and how many players have been infected.
However, according to BasketNews' Florian Kurth, the new cases are players who didn't test positive last time out (some weeks ago), in addition to those who already had COVID.
Those infected, as well as the entire team, were completely vaccinated, isolated from the rest of the group at an early stage, and are facing mild symptoms.
As a result, Bayern's BBL game in Ulm scheduled for Sunday has to be postponed. A corresponding request was granted by the easyCredit BBL on Friday. The German team currently does not have the necessary eight players available, which also resulted in the decision to pause team practices.
Andrea Trinchieri's team is being hosted by Fenerbahce in Istanbul on March 15 (next Tuesday) and by AX Armani Exchange Milan three days later. It still remains unclear whether those games will take place and/or how many players will be available.
