Fortitudo Bologna (6-15) fought until the very end against Virtus Bologna (17-3) but in the end, coach Scariolo's side conquered the win with the final score of 85-82 (25-19, 21-24, 22-14, 17-25).

Kyle Weems missed two free throws with 11 seconds left in the game but Fortitudo didn't secure the rebound and Mannion was fouled and then scored the free throws to finish the game (85-82).

Robin Benzing scored an important basket to reduce Virtus Bologna's lead to just one point (83-82) with 16 seconds remaining on the clock.
