After Semaj Christon and Sindarius Thornwell's buckets, Ulm seemed to control the situation comfortably (88-83) with 3:30 to go. However, their success was temporary, as Dylan Ennis and AJ Slaughter quickly responded with efficient attacks and tied the game at 88.

Philipp Herkenhoff nailed a two-pointer, Fedor Zugic added another duo, and Ulm were guiding the way by 3 points (93-90) with 1 minute left on the clock. But then the time came for clutch Artem Pustovyi's two-point basket, which cut Gran Canaria's deficit to minimal (92-93).

The Spanish squad got a stop, while AJ Slaughter nailed a crucial two-pointer on the other end to give his team a slim lead (94-93) with 20.8 seconds to play. Semaj Christon had a chance to win the game but his shot was off the mark.

Andrew Albicy was the top performer for the winning side, accumulating 9 points (2/3 2PT, 1/4 3PT, 2/2 FT), 2 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals, 1 turnover, and 20 PIR.

AJ Slaughter had 15 points (3/6 2PT, 3/4 3PT), 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 17 PIR.

Gran Canaria: Dylan Ennis 18, AJ Slaughter 15, Artem Pustovyi 12 (7 REB), Andrew Albicy 9 (10 AST), Nicolas Brussino 9 (6 REB), Aleksander Balcerowski 9.

Ulm: Fedor Zugic 22, Jaron Blossomgame 18 (9 REB), Philipp Herkenhoff 18, Semaj Christon 9 (6 AST), Thomas Klepeisz 9 (5 AST).
