Spanish side Baskonia (10-15) conquered an important win against ALBA Berlin (9-13), improving their record while trying to maintain a little hope for the playoffs. The final score was 85-68 (21-19, 23-12, 20-29, 21-8).

Coach Spahija's side, despite some turnovers down the stretch, were able to maintain a comfortable lead and take the win home.

Baskonia started the fourth quarter on a high note and with a solid contribution from Sedekerskis off the bench, they extended their lead to 11 points (73-62).

The situation changed in the second half. In the third period, ALBA reacted and after being down by 14 points (48-62), they made a 12-0 run to cut the deficit to just two points (60-62), behind the performances of Jaleen Smith and Oscar Da Silva.

In the second quarter, Baskonia started to extend their lead, playing solid defense and keeping finding the basket with consistency. Rokas Giedraitis was really hard to stop for ALBA Berlin and Vanja Marinkovic gave a nice boost coming off the bench. The Spanish side were leading by 13 at the half (44-31).

After a good start from Baskonia (8-2), ALBA Berlin began to find the rhythm from outside, and with a couple of three-pointers from Blatt and another one from Mattisseck, they found their first lead of the night (13-11). Jaleen Smith's buzzer-beater from three-point end the first quarter with Baskonia up by two (21-19).
