Partizan NIS Belgrade (19-3) stayed atop of the ABA League standings, after a 83-70 (15-20, 24-8, 26-23, 18-19) home win over Igokea (12-10) at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall.

On the other hand, Igokea were coming off a three-game winning streak that was snapped in Belgrade.

However, the black-and-white played much more aggressively at the beginning of the second quarter and turned things around thanks to a partial score of 24-8.
Partizan's lead came up to 21 points (49-28) and although the guests managed to somehow close the gap to eight (71-63), the Kevin Punter-Zach LeDay duo made sure that their team wouldn't be threatened.
Punter scored a game-high 20 points, while LeDay added 15. Yam Madar had 10 points and 6 assists for the winners, who will be facing Cedevita Olimpija in the ABA League and Slask Wroclaw in the EuroCup next week.
Antabija Walker had 19 points and 5 rebounds, Nikola Tanaskovic 16, Dashaun Stevens 13, and James Robinson 7 points and 8 assists for Igokea.
