Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo sat out Saturday's game with the Minnesota Timberwolves due to right knee soreness.
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said Antetokounmpo injured the knee in the first quarter of Wednesday's 135-126 road victory over the Sacramento Kings. Antetokounmpo finished with 36 points and 10 rebounds against the Kings.
Antetokounmpo, a two-time NBA MVP, is averaging 29.8 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 59 games.
Milwaukee also got guard Pat Connaughton back from a fractured finger. Connaughton missed the previous 13 games.
