Are Bitci Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz on time to reach the Euroleague Playoffs? After outscoring Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul on Wednesday night, the Vitorianos are just one win away from the 8th seed.

Baskonia are on their best stretch of the season with four wins in a row. The team has made a step up, from communication in defense to offensive fluency. Wade Baldwin IV reminds the best version of himself, who led Bayern Munich last season.

He shined against the Turkish powerhouse with 24 points.

"We have a sense of urgency now, we've got two more games to go," Baldwin said. "A big one against Fenerbahce, they absolutely killed us when we went there, so we owed them a big favor."

"I’m happy that we're playing well and finding our rhythm. I went a bit Steph Curry out there, the shots were flowing and I'm happy we won the game", added the American guard.

Baskonia have only two games remaining. They will visit Monaco on Friday night and face Zalgiris Kaunas next week in the last EuroLeague Regular Season round for them.

Neven Spahija agreed with his player about Baskonia's goal in these two last games.

"Our goal now is to reach the playoffs. Players understand it and we will go for it. We have improved a lot this month and there's still time. Let's see," began the Croatian mastermind.

Spahija praised the support his team received during the whole game against Fenerbahce.

"People were amazing tonight. They have helped us a lot. It's not easy when you play on the road and fans put the pressure on you. With our supporters next to us we will play even with more energy," added Neven.

Baskonia had a great second half, especially on defense, letting the Turkish team score only 22 points.

"I am not sure if this is the best second-half since I arrived, but obviously it has been great. We found finally a balance between frontcourt and backcourt. We played with a purpose," concluded Spahija.

Baskonia are on a mission.
