In a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the big man expressed his will to continue his experience in Milan and finish his career in Italy.
"For sure I want to keep working with Ettore Messina, I came here because Ettore is on the bench", Hines explained. "Olimpia Milan is like the perfect closing for my career. I've started my professional journey here in Italy and I hope that I can finish it here".
In this season, Hines is averaging 8.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in EuroLeague.
Just like Hines, other veteran players of Milan like Sergio Rodriguez and Gigi Datome are also on expiring deals. The Italian club plan to start contract extension talks with them too, multiple sources have confirmed to Basketnews.
Coach and president basketball operations Ettore Messina is also on an expiring contract, although in his original deal there were options to extend the contract for at least other two years.
