Last weekend, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had a monumental night, scoring 38 points against Wizards and passing Karl Malone for the second spot on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

James is on his way to catch Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who sits atop the league's all-time scoring list at 38,387 points. At this moment, LeBron has 36,985 points on his resume.

The Golden State Warriors all-around player and a friend of LeBron, Draymond Green, talked over James' historic night in Washington on his podcast– "The Draymond Green Show".

Green revealed what he would do to witness LeBron James becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer. The 32-year-old would be about to miss the Warriors game in order to experience a historic moment live.

"Congrats to LeBron, second all-time. Probably in 50 more games or so, he'll be first all-time. And I can't wait to see that," Green told.

"Steve Kerr, I'm throwing this out there right now, if LeBron James is passing the all-time scoring record and we have a game, I'm going to LeBron's game and witness history."

Following his historic night that eclipsed Karl Malone on the all-time list, LeBron talked about potentially passing Abdul-Jabbar in the near future.

"I will not allow myself to think about it," the 18-time NBA All-Star said. "I've always just played the game the way I've been playing it over the years, and these things have just happened organically by just going out and just playing the game the right way. Trying to win every game, playing the right way, playing for your teammates and things of that nature."

"So, I hope to accomplish that at some point in my career, but I won't think about it too much pretty much until we get there hopefully," James added.
