A strong second quarter and a dominant performance from Walter Tavares helped Real Madrid (19-6) earn their 19th win in the Spanish ACB League. The Spanish powerhouse overcame resilient Urbas Fuenlabrada (8-17) 92-77 (22-18, 23-13, 22-18, 25-28) to solidify second place in the standings.

Real Madrid started the game off strong, with Adam Hanga's three-pointer earning the team an early 11-2 after only two-and-a-half minutes played in the first quarter. However, Fuenlabrada then went on a run of their own, outscoring their opponents 12-2 in the next 4 minutes.

When the second quarter came, the Gabriel Deck show began. The Argentinian forward scored 7 points in three minutes, grabbing multiple rebounds along the way. Inspired by Deck's success, Real went on to finish the quarter on an 8-2 run.

The second quarter proved to be the differential. Although Fuenlabrada tried to mount a comeback, all their efforts were denied. The closest they got was 11 points with only 3 minutes left to play in the 4th quarter. Real then orchestrated another 11-2 run to finish off the match.

A trio of Deck, Tavares, and Thomas Huertel were the superstars of the match. Huertel led the team with 21 points on 9/14 shooting, also collecting 4 rebounds and 6 assists for 30 PIR. Deck added 16 points and 10 rebounds for 22 PIR, while Tavares scored 14 points and notched 8 rebounds for 25 PIR.

Leo Meindl was the most notable player in Fuenlabrada, scoring 18 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, dishing out 3 assists, and collecting 25 PIR points along the way.

Real: Thomas Huertel 21 (5/8 2PT, 3/6 3PT, 4 REB, 6 AST), Gabriel Deck 16 (6/9 2PT, 10 REB, 2 AST), Walter Tavares 14 (5/6 2PT, 4/6 FT, 8 REB, 2 BLK), Guerschon Yabusele 14 (3/3 2PT, 2/4 3PT, 4 AST).

Fuenlabrada: Leo Meindl 18 (5/7 2PT, 6 REB, 3 AST), Obi Emegano 16 (4/10 2PT, 2/5 3PT, 3 REB), Kwan Cheatham 14 (3/7 2PT, 2/5 3PT, 5 REB), Dusan Ristic 12 (6/11 2PT, 6 REB).
