He has indicated that he hopes to see a better team than what has been seen so far.
Sakota considers that Casademont Zaragoza is doing well in the physical section and that he sees it with a higher level of communication and cooperation.
The new coach of the Aragonese team has pointed out that nine games are remaining, and each one of them is a new opportunity. He also added that he would be much more optimistic if he sees improvement and competitive capacity.
"The goal is to be a better team. My first job is to find a way to make it better. I am aware that the team is not perfect, and I would like to be in a better situation.
It does not help us to talk about what we lack right now. It is evident that having some different players in some positions would help us, but the market situation is very complicated because it is limited", he analyzed.
Sakota highlighted another problem, that balance inside and outside is lacking, as well as a lack of toughness, and he intends to change it.
"I've seen a lack of athleticism, a lack of toughness, something we're working on how to improve the situation," he added.
He has also missed better chemistry which, in his opinion, should start with a defensive attitude.
"Another point is that the team was at the bottom of the standings in the competition. The goal is to share roles and play intelligently, which has been my job," he pointed out.
Sakota understands that a team that comes from many defeats is falling apart. However, he is trying to emphasize the defensive attitude so that he does not receive such simple baskets and so that the team gains confidence with easy points running the field, and so optimism can grow.
The Serbian coach has recalled that when you are falling, you cannot stop short and that it is normal for something to continue falling.
"The Burgos match didn't give me anything, but I hadn't fully adapted to the team either, and now that we've been together longer, we have more capacity to cooperate and work together," he commented.
The 70-year-old Serbian coach, who made a great career in Greece, mainly with AEK, was announced as a head coach by the team of Aragon a few weeks ago until the end of the season and essentially replaced Aleis Duran.
Zaragoza aims to stay in the Liga Endesa. They have dropped to second place from the end recently (8-17), only above Real Betis (6-19).
