In Serie A, Dinamo Sassari (12-11) surprised Euroleague side Armani Exchange Milan (19-4) and won in a really tough battle. Gerald Robinson scored the decisive basket and gave Sassari the win with the final score of 92-90 (27-24, 29-19, 19-30, 17-17).

The final quarter was a really balanced battle between the two teams but in the end Sassari were able to finish it better. With just 5 seconds left, Gerald Robinson scored a key two-pointer to give Sassari the win (92-90).

After losing Gigi Datome to an injury, Milan started to fight back in the third quarter. They scored 30 points, feeding Ben Bentil, who was having a fantastic game up to that point. Also, Malcolm Delaney provided some sparkle offensively after a poor first half. At the end of the third, Milan cut down Sassari's lead to just two points (73-75).

Sassari started the game strongly and hit Milan with some serious firepower from outside. At the beginning of the second quarter, Sassari were shooting 10/14 from three-point. David Logan and Miro Bilan were definitely too much to handle for Milan in the first half, with the American guard finishing the first 20 minutes with 19 points. The Sardinian side finished the first half up by 13 (56-43).

David Logan was the top scorer for Dinamo Sassari with 25 points (0/3 2PT, 8/15 3PT, 1/1 FT), 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 18 PIR.

For Armani Exchange Milan, on the other hand, the top scorer was Ben Bentil with 22 points (5/10 2PT, 4/5 3PT), 4 rebounds, and 20 PIR.

Dinamo Sassari: David Logan 25, Miro Bilan 21 (8 REB), Eimantas Bendzius 17, Gerald Robinson 12

Armani Exchange Milan: Ben Bentil 22, Malcolm Delaney 18, Shavon Shields 13 (7 REB), Devon Hall 13
