Partizan reach an achievement in ABA League for the first time since 2010 / News - Basketnews.com
A win against Mornar Bar on Saturday might not have meant much for Partizan NIS Belgrade in terms of standings in the ABA League, but it meant a lot in terms of historical value. It was the team's 20th win in the league, marking the first time it happened since the 2009/2010 season.

Coached by Dusko Vujosevic, the club won European fans' hearts that year, also winning the local title over Cibona in a spectacular fashion when Dusan Kecman made an unbelievable three-pointer with only 0.6 seconds left.
Vujosevic's team reached the result of 20 wins and 6 losses in the ABA League that season. This year, the team's fans can experience the winning ways again. After coming to Partizan, the legendary Zeljko Obradovic brought his philosophy and his winning strategy to the team.
With 20 wins already in their pocket and two games left to play, the current Partizan team can improve on the achievement even more. Nevertheless, they won't be able to reach the all-time result that was achieved during the 2007/2008 season when the club won 24 games and lost only twice, and went on to win the ABA League title.
Since the 2009/2010 season, Partizan even had a losing season once, recording 12 wins and 14 losses during the 2015/2016 campaign.
