Luca Vildoza ready for an NBA comeback with the Bucks / News - Basketnews.com

Luca Vildoza is expected to sign a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks that will take him through the 2022-23 season, Andrew Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

"I am preparing to return to the NBA, no matter what," the Argentinian guard said two months ago. "NBA is the dream of many players. Having stayed at the door shocks me."

Last May, Vildoza signed a deal with theNew York Knicksbut was waived on October 3, after playing two 2021 NBA Summer League games.

Then he decided to undergo right foot surgery and recover from the physical problems, he dragged on. Now, the MVP of the 2020 Spanish ACB League finals has fully recovered from foot surgery and will be activated for the Bucks in the playoffs, according to the same report.

Vildoza's agent, Alex Saratsis of Octagon Sports, and Bucks GM Jon Horst are expected to finalize terms on the deal in the coming days.

The last big stage, where Vildoza could demonstrate his skills, was Tokyo Olympics. Though, he was lackluster there, averaging 7.0 points (16.7% 3PT), 2.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 6.0 PIR over four games with Argentina.
