Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson has exploded against his team, which will go on holiday from 11 April. Anthony Davis and LeBron James were his main targets.

The Lakers' season officially come to an end on the mentioned 11 April against the Denver Nuggets, when the regular season finishes up.

And it has been this way for many reasons: playing, feelings, the 31-48 anti-record (which could end up being 31-51), the impossibility of winning more than two games in a row since 7 January, and the seven consecutive defeats they have suffered.

Magic has been very clear and has spoken directly not only against LeBron, but also against Anthony Davis.

"Maybe he should be somewhere else," he said about the star big man of the Purple & Gold, who will play in less than 40 games this season as multiple injuries have prevented him from having any continuity.

And that's not all. In statements reported by COMPLEX, Magic singled out LeBron for his demands last summer. The star wanted to have Russell Westbrook on the Lakers roster, an idea which ultimately doomed the team.

Magic Johnson said the Lakers should have gone for DeMar DeRozan, a player who is having an outstanding season (28.0 PTS, 5.2 REB, and 5.0 AST on average).

After all, players like Alex Caruso and company had to leave in order for Westbrook to arrive.

This is how things are in the Lakers. A team is structurally broken, with its sights set on what LeBron (a superstar who will be playing his 20th NBA season next season) will do in 2023.
