The 2022 NBA play-in tournament will begin Tuesday with games pitting the No. 7 teams and No. 8 teams in each conference.

Heading into the final weekend of the regular season, the only team to know its seeding is the Los Angeles Clippers, who have locked up the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference.

Depending on the outcome of the remaining games of the season, either the Denver Nuggets or Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Clippers.

In the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets currently hold the No. 7 and 8 spots, respectively.

On Wednesday, the teams that finished ninth and 10th in the conferences will meet.

The teams in the East are not yet locked in, but the Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets currently occupy those spots.

In the West, the New Orleans Pelicans and San Antonio Spurs will play, with the home team and final seeding still to be determined.

On Friday, April 15, the losers of Tuesday's games will meet the winners of Wednesday's games, by conference. The winners advance to the NBA playoffs and will meet the No. 1 seed from their respective conferences in first-round play.

The playoffs begin on April 16.
