Facundo Campazzo reflects on his limited playing time: 'It's boring to be angry for so long' / News - Basketnews.com
Despite the Denver Nuggets' 48-33 record, good enough for a spot in the NBA playoffs, Facundo Campazzo is obviously not having the best of times overseas.

The Argentinean international, who is averaging 5.1 points and 3.4 assists in 18.4 minutes this season and barely makes Michael Malone's rotation, was his team's 12th man in the last game. As a result, he only stayed on the court for 2'49''.
In his column in the local newspaper "La Nacion," which was published before the game against the Grizzlies, Campazzo acknowledges being out of the rotation "is not the most comfortable thing for me. Me not playing so much happened in my first season with Peniarol and in Real Madrid, so I could say that this second year in Denver is my first season in the NBA," Campazzo wrote.
"Anyway, I take it as learning process, although I can't deny that I want to play, that I want to show that I can compete. I'm waiting for my chance," he added.
The undesized point guard points out that "something has to happen for me to play, that's a fact. I have to train hard, take care of the details to improve in my game".
With regards to the current situation at the Nuggets, Campazzo has realized that "the roles are well defined", which led him to "not take it personally."
"The truth is is that I had opportunities and I did well, very well, badly and very badly," he acknowledges. "Therefore, I put myself in others' shoes and think about what I would do if I were them. That helps me understand the context better," he reflects.
However, not being allocated much playing time has indeed taken a toll on Campazzo, especially at the beginning.
"The truth is that when I wasn't playing much I was more depressed, but honestly it's boring to be angry for so long, or to think about why I'm not playing. I'm super calm about the situation, I go to every practice with the aim of getting something positive out of it," he noted.
