And their visit was a great success, coming back from a massive 20-point deficit and overtaking Real 97-88 (17-24, 17-28, 25-23, 38-13). With this win, Bayern left the Royal club in fourth place in the EuroLeague standings.

Moreover, Bayern's victory revealed one more assured playoffs pair: Olympiacos Piraeus (2nd seed) vs AS Monaco (7th seed).

Real and, especially Sergio Llull, continued draining shots from deep in the third quarter to keep Bayern at a safe distance (75-59). However, everything changed in the last tally.

Deshaun Thomas initiated a 9-0 run at the start of the fourth period and Bayern were down by a single-digit deficit (68-75). The American forward continued his successful play, Leon Radosevic and Ognjen Jaramaz contributed with their baskets, and the Germans were one point away (81-82).

That was not the end, Bayern got a stop, Deshaun Thomas nailed a triple, Ognjen Jaramaz added a duo, while Bayern retook the game control in their hands (86-82) with 2:40 to go. Later, both clubs exchanged with efficient attacks.

Nevertheless, Jaramaz drained a shot from a charity stripe, Bayern stopped Real's attack, while Vladimir Lucic's two free throws buried Los Blancos' hopes.

For the winners, Ognjen Jaramaz had a career night, accumulating 19 points (4/4 2PT, 1/2 3PT, 8/9 FT), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover, 8 drawn fouls, and 28 PIR.

Four Real players of Fabien Causeur, Gabriel Deck, Sergio Llull, and Guerschon Yabusele had 12 points apiece.

Powered by Rudy Fernandez, Gabriel Deck, Alberto Abalde, and Nigel Williams-Goss' triples, Real spurted 11-0 in the mid-second quarter and gained a solid 17-point lead (46-29).

The Royal club did not release the gas pedal and both squads were separated by 18 points (52-34) at half-time. Real were blazing-hot shooting from behind the arc. Pablo Laso's men drained 13 triples in 22 tries (59.1%) over 20 minutes of the match.

Bayern: Ognjen Jaramaz 18, Deshaun Thomas 16, Zan Mark Sisko 13, Othello Hunter 11 (6 REB).

Real: Fabien Causeur 12, Gabriel Deck 12 (5 REB), Sergio Llull 12 (5 AST), Guerschon Yabusele 12.
