Despite trailing by 12 points in the first quarter (9-21), Zvezda quickly stabilized their positions (21-25) and had plus one going into the break (51-50).

After a 14-1 run at the start of the third period, the Red Star ran away from their opponents and created a solid double-digit lead (71-55). That was enough to finish the game comfortably, grabbing a victory.
