In the debut match of coach Kazys Maksvytis, Zalgiris Kaunas (23-3)visited Nevezis-Optibet Kedainiai (6-20) in the Lithuanian Basketball League. Zalgiris overcame their opponents with the final score of 72-64 (19-16, 15-13, 20-14, 18-21).

Ulanovas led Zalgiris with 12 points (5/9 2PT, 2/2 FT), 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 20 PIR.
