Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley has been fined $30,000 by the NBA for the inappropriate statements during a media interview and on social media, including the egregious use of profanity.

Beverley made his comments to the media during a postgame press conference and on a social media post following the Timberwolves‘ 109-104 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in Play-in matchup.

Minnesota Timberwolves will be a part of the playoffs for just the second time in the past 18 seasonsand will face Memphis Grizzlies in the First Round of the 2022 NBAPlayoffs.

Patrick Beverley averaged 9.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 58 games this NBA season.
