Czech Republic basketball star Tomas Satoransky will participate in the EuroBasket 2022, the player announced on his Instagram account.

"Not the easiest season. But I'm so grateful for finishing the year in the right situation with the right team. Thank you all for supporting me throughout this year. Next stop is EuroBasket2022," the 30-year-old wrote on social media.

Veteran guard had a shaky NBA season, finishing it in Washington, after agreeing to a contract buyout with the San Antonio Spurs.

He began the 2021-22 campaign with the New Orleans Pelicans before a couple of trade-deadline deals, which sent him to the Portland Trail Blazers and then to the Spurs.

A second-round draft pick by the Wizards in 2012 has NBA career averages of 6.9 points, 4.1 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 388 games (182 starts) with the Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Pelicans, and Spurs.

In the international basketball, Satoransky has played in all of the age categories for the Czech Republic national basketball team. He joined the senior NT for the first time during EuroBasket 2009 qualifiers.

The 2.01-meter athlete has also represented the Czech NT at EuroBasket 2013, EuroBasket 2015, EuroBasket 2017, World Cup 2019, and Tokyo Olympics.
