Being the most offense-centric team in modern 7DAYS EuroCup history, Frutti Extra Bursaspor caused serious troubles for Partizan NIS Belgrade at Stark Arena, eliminating the favorites from the competition.

Turks edged out the Serbian powerhouse 103-95 (20-20, 17-18, 27-22, 20-24, 19-11) in the overtime thriller.

After a 10-0 run at the start of the third quarter, Bursaspor were up by 9 points (51-42). However, Partizan gradually erased their deficit. Zeljko Obradovic's men spurted 9-2 in the last tally and retook the lead (69-66).

The same three points differed squads with less than 3 minutes to play in the duel, after Mathias Lessort's bucket. The latter did stop, he stole the ball and made a fast-break dunk to give his team a 5-point cushion (79-74) with 1:45 to go.

Derek Needham converted from deep (77-79) but Aleksa Avramovic responded on the other end (81-77). Partizan got a crucial stop, Avramovic was fouled, and the Serbian guard made one free throw (82-77) with 20 seconds left on the clock.

Both clubs were trading buckets, while it was a favorable scenario for Partizan until Yam Madar's offensive foul with 10 seconds left. John Holland used the given opportunity and sank a triple to tie the game at 84 with 7 seconds to play. Kevin Punter had a chance to win it but his deep shot was off the mark. Overtime.

Andrew Andrews and John Holland nailed two straight daggers from beyond the arc and Bursa were up by 6 points (95-89) with 1:55 to go in the additional 5 minutes. Both squads exchanged with unsuccessful attacks, while Onuralp Bitim sealed the deal for the visitors with a powerful dunk (97-89).

Andrew Andrews was outstanding for Bursa, flirting with a triple-double. He finished the game with 24 points (5/5 2PT, 2/5 3PT, 8/11 FT), 8 rebounds, 10 assists, 1 steal, 3 turnovers, and 35 PIR.

Bursaspor: Andrew Andrews 24 (8 REB, 10 AST), Onuralp Bitim 20 (10 REB, 5 AST, 25 PIR), John Holland 17, David Dudzinski 15, Derek Needham 14 (5 AST).

Partizan: Aleksa Avramovic 23 (6 AST), Mathias Lessort 20 (8 REB), Kevin Punter 13, Zach LeDay 11 (9 REB), Yam Madar 11.
