EuroCup quarter-final pairs set behind big surprises / News - Basketnews.com

All 7DAYS EuroCup eight finals were played on April 19 and April 20. After them, the eight best teams got cleared, which will participate in the quarterfinals of the competition.

Six higher-seeded squads with home-court advantage advanced to the EuroCup quarterfinals, including Virtus, Metropolitans 92, Valencia, Gran Canaria, MoraBanc, and Cedevita.

Ratiopharm Ulm and Frutti Extra Bursaspor delivered the biggest surprises in the first round of the EuroCup playoffs. The German club stunned first-seeded Joventut, 79-73, while Bursa slipped by second-placed Partizan in an overtime thriller, 103-95.

The quarterfinals will take place on April 26 and April 27, while the semifinals will occur on May 3 and May 4. The final duel of the EuroCup competition is scheduled for May 11.

The winner will be crowned the EuroCup Champion and will get a ticket to Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

All matches are played under a single-game format.
