FC Barcelona vs FC Bayern Munich
Barcelona won the first game 77-67. We backed 151.5 and after a high-scoring start, it was a smooth cruise to get the win.
Barcelona had a performance just like I predicted, turning up the defense a level or two and making every possession count. Meanwhile, Bayern were struggling to find open looks and they should be grateful for Vladimir Lucic who once again carried the Germans with 20 points in 31 minutes.
Unfortunately, Bayern had Darrun Hilliard injured in the fourth quarter. He injured his shoulder and he is not expected to return this season. Massive blow for Bayern who are already missing Corey Walden.
I am quite surprised by the odds here I must say. We get the same total once again and this is without the top scorer of Bayern Munich? I say thank you very much and without a doubt, we are going for the under again. Defense!

AX Armani Exchange Milan vs Anadolu Efes Istanbul
Advantage Anadolu Efes after winning the first leg with 64-48. An absolutely terrible performance from the hosts combined with a very solid performance from the guests.
I backed Armani Exchange in the first leg, will I give them another try in game 2? Not a chance.
Unfortunately for the Italians, they got their team captain Nicolo Melli injured at the end of the game and he will miss the rest of the series. He was the top scorer of the team with 10 points.
Malcolm Delaney only managed to score 1 point in 22 minutes. Milano missed Tray Kell as well and he must be considered doubtful for Game 2.
FC Bayern Munich / Schedule
FC Barcelona FC Bayern Munich77-67 FC Barcelona FC Bayern MunichThu18:00 FC Bayern Munich FC Barcelona04-2718:30Efes as I said looked very good and you just got the feeling that they turned into some sort of playoff mode, just like last season. Micic was doubtful but played 29 minutes tying Shane Larkin as the top scorer with 16 points each.
Anadolu Efes are clear favorites for me with these circumstances and with the odds more or less even, the choice is easy.

Olympiacos Piraeus vs AS Monaco
The first game went to Olympiacos after a stellar performance from the Greeks, winning 71-54 in a game where Monaco struggled to find their rhythm throughout all four quarters.
There is no doubt that this was one of, if not the best game from Olympiacos this season meanwhile Monaco had one of their worst. Mike James and Dwayne Bacon had 12 points combined, a number you normally can multiply with at least three.
Game 2 will be played on Friday and there will once again be a packed Peace and Friendship Stadium, but does it mean that we will see another low score blowout from Olympiacos? I do not think so.
I have huge respect and believe in coach Obradovic and I am sure he will find a way to turn this around and at least make this second game much more competitive. The key is obviously to get the offense going again, a weapon that is one of the best in Europe when clicking.
The total is more or less the same as in the first game and as previously mentioned this season, a total below 160 when Monaco is playing is a no-brainer.
This is a perfect opportunity to try the over again since I am expecting an offensive reaction from both teams and especially Monaco.

Real Madrid vs Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv
The first game went to Real Madrid after winning 84-74. It must be said though, Maccabi had every chance in the world to make this much more competitive and with 5-6 minutes left in the game, they were down 74-69.
But a couple of silly mistakes from the Israelis let Real Madrid score two consecutive 3-pointers and the game was over.
As mentioned above, the game was much closer than the 10 points difference and that is also the feeling I am bringing with me to the second game. Keynotes from the game were that Scottie Wilbekin had to do too much on his own and he will need more help from his teammates in the second game.
What was positive though for Maccabi is that they kept Tavares to only 4 points and 6 rebounds. For Real Madrid, both Causeur (20 points) and Yabusele (15 points) were shooting the ball very well and had a big impact on Los Blancos.
I will give Maccabi another shot here. Real Madrid is still lacking consistency and I think the difference between the teams is not that big. I believe they can control Tavares again and if Wilbekin gets some support from his teammates, I would not be surprised if we see this series equalized.
BET: Maccabi Tel Aviv +7.5 @ 1.85
