Following the conclusion of his second NBA season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Aleksej Pokusevski is back in Serbia.

"I am content with my progress, especially in the second part of the season.I expect to be even better next year," the 20-year-old told Mozzart Sport.
Pokusevski averaged 7.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game as the OKC finished 14th in the Western Conference.
However, we might have not seen the last of him before the next season begins, as the versatile forward is hopeful that he will be among Svetislav Pesic's callups for the Serbian national team ahead of the coming EuroBasket.
"I had dinner with Pesic and we talked. We will see what happens during the summer," he noted.
In the group phase which will be held in Prague, Serbia will face the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Finland, Israel, and Poland. The top four teams of the group will advance to the knockout stage, scheduled to be held in Berlin between 10-18 September.
In addition, Serbia will take on Latvia on the road and Belgium at home to conclude the first round of the 2023 World Cup European Qualifiers in July.
Aleksej Pokusevski also talked about growing up asa Partizan fan.
"I always follow the team. If I can't be here, I will read the stat sheet of the games. I follow the team as a fan and of course, I hope that Partizan will win titles," he said a few hours before the Serbian powerhouse dropped its EuroCup home game against Bursaspor and got eliminated from the competition.
