Draymond Green suspended one game for 16th technical foul
Golden State Warriors forward DraymondGreen has been suspended one game without pay for receiving his16th technical foul of the 2022-23 season, it was announced todayby NBA executive vice president and head of basketball operationsJoe Dumars.
Under NBA rules, a player or coach isautomatically suspended without pay for one game once he receiveshis 16thtechnical foul during a regularseason.
For every two additional technicalfouls he receives during that regular season, the player or coachwill be automatically suspended without pay for an additionalgame.
Green received his most recenttechnical foul with 40 seconds remaining in the second quarter ofthe Warriors’ 134-126 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on March 16at Crypto.com Arena. After the Clippers' scored, Green gathered theball and seemed to toss it in the direction of Clippers forwardPaul George.
