Utah Jazzcenter Rudy Gobert was fined $25,000 Sunday for using profanity in a postgame television interview immediately following Utah's 110-109 win over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 4 of their first-round series.

Gobert made a go-ahead dunk on a lob from teammate Donovan Mitchell as the Jazz won 100-99. In an interview on NBA TV, Gobert was asked what his team's potential was.

"Man, f--- the talk," Gobert said. "We just try to be the best team we can be, we try to enjoy the moment, and whatever happens, happens."

Gobert's comments came shortly after he played hero for the Jazz with a game-winning alley-oop off the feed from Donovan Mitchell with just 11 seconds remaining.

All told, Gobert finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds in his best performance of the series. He was a menace on the offensive glass, and created a number of key second-chance opportunities that kept the Jazz in the game down the stretch.

"It's poetic justice in a way," Gobert told ESPN after the match. "It's a play that we've made many times. It just happened to be the game-winning play tonight."

The Frenchman received the pass from Donovan Mitchell, a player who has some history with Gobert, at least according to the media. There have numerous reports about a disagreement within the team between the two players namely due to the lack of passing from Mitchell's side.

According to Second Spectrum data, Mitchell averages only 2.7 passes to Gobert during the season. Not 2.7 assists, 2.7 passes. However, it's all just talk, according to the player with the Stifle Tower nickname.

"I mean, there's a lot of noise," Gobert told the media in the press conference. "A lot of people are talking about our team, our guys, the future, what can happen, what might not happen, about a lot of different things that at the end of the day for us right now don't matter. We have a team, we're 2-2 in the series, and that's our focus."

Utah is now tied with the Mavericks 2-2 in their first-round series. Game 5 is set for Monday in Dallas.
