Higgins was already in Audi Dome one hour before the rest of the team came to the first practice on German soil.
A 32-year-old American guard is still rehabbing after a chronic plantar fasciitis surgery he had on February 14.
But he's already working out individually at a decent pace and draining all these shots that we're used to.
Barcelona head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius doesn't expect him to help the team in Games 3 and 4. But the Lithuanian seeks the upcoming weekend as a potential timeline for Higgins' return.
"I don't know yet," Jasikevicius said to BasketNews when asked about Higgins' return. "There's a slight chance to see him returning on Sunday. But I can't guarantee you this. He still has to practice with the team, but we won't have many practices here this week."
As soon as the entire Barcelona team entered the court, Higgins went to the sidelines to stretch with the individual coach.
On Sunday, Barca will host San Pablo Burgos in the Liga Endesa. With the series tied 1-1, Barcelona will play Bayern in Munich on Wednesday and Friday.
"His voice is very important in our locker room, so it's better to be all together in such a situation," Jasikevicius added.
Higgins was expected to return in the middle of May, per Barcelona's report straight after the surgery.
In 13 EuroLeague games this season, Higgins averaged 9.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 22 minutes.
