Maccabi Tel Aviv (17-8) keep rolling, winning their fourth straight contest at the Israel Basketball Super Leagueby taking down the visitingHapoel Jerusalem (18-8) 89-79 (24-23, 20-25, 20-7, 25-24).

After the close first half, James Nunnally and Keenan Evans initiated a 13-0 run at the start of the third quarter and Maccabi were in front by 9 points (57-48).

Maccabi came out aggressive in the fourth with back-to-back 3-pointers from John DiBartolomeo for a 12-point lead (73-61) with 6:38 left. After Suleiman Braimoh‘s 3-pointer, Hapoel reduced the deficit to 6 points (76-82) with 3:03 remaining.

Boths teams exchanged missing shots, until Evans made two free throws (85-77) with 1:35 to go and let Maccabi breath easier.

KC Rivers answered with a duo (79-85), but DiBartolomeo sealed the deal for Tel Aviv (87-79), sinking a jumper (81-73) with 34 seconds to go.

Keenan Evans was the most efficient player for Maccabi posting 15 points (6/7 2PT, 0/1 3PT, 3/4 FT), 8 assists, 5 rebounds, and 22 PIR.

Jalen Adams was the leading scorer for Hapoel, finishing with 26 points (3/8 2PT, 5/9 3PT, 5/6 FT), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 24 PIR.
