Despite rumors that Nick Nurse is the top candidate to fill vacant coaching position for Los Angeles Lakers, no team has called the Toronto Raptors to inquire about the availability of Nurse, Raptors president and vice-chairman Masai Ujiri said.

Nurse denied those rumours and added that he is focused on training Raptors.
“I don’t know where that stuff comes from and I’m focused on coaching this team,” said Nurse.
The Lakers would actually need permission from the Raptors in order to even interview Nurse, but there is no sign he has any indication of doing so. The 54-year-old has done a tremendous job in Toronto and continues to prove he’s the right man for this position.
