After last night's win against Valencia, Italian side Virtus Bologna secured a ticket to the EuroCup final, in which they'll play at home against Turkish club Frutti Extra Bursaspor.

The CEO of the club, Luca Baraldi, didn't hold his enthusiasm about the victory and in an interview with 'Radio 108' shared all his happiness.

"I'm proud to be a part of this organization", Baraldi said. "I don't forget, though, that just a few years ago basically everyone forgot about us. Now we're a benchmark for every club in Europe thanks to every single person that works with us".

"We're growing with some mistakes along the road but the city can be proud of us", Baraldi continued. "And I want to thank Mr.Zanetti, aside from the financial support, he always gives us great energy, he's a happy man. He loves this environment because is a healthy one, and seeing such a serious entrepreneur like him so happy, feeling so relaxed that he also danced with the female team, it tells us how well things are going".

Virtus Bologna still need to win the final of the EuroCup to secure a spot in the next EuroLeague, although many believe that the Italian club will receive a wild card to play in the top European competition regardless of the final's result. But the CEO of the club didn't hold back and shared an ambitious plan for the team.

"After EuroLeague, there's nothing more than that", Baraldi explained. "I don't want to sound too arrogant but, except for the Italian Cup, we won every single competition we've played in so far. A club that wins everything it's a solid one and means that has a lot of support behind it, from the city and the fans. If we'll be in EuroLeague next season, we won't go there just to participate, because we don't play, we win. We'll go there with the right mindset".
