The head coach of FC Barcelona, Sarunas Jasikevicius, congratulated his players for securing first place in the ACB regular season, although he wasn't satisfied with the way decisive victory against Rio Breogan was achieved.

"I want to congratulate our players and fans. It is very important to talk about the regular season. It is not a title, but it has a lot of merit for the players' work, more so in times of pandemic.

The playoffs will start from scratch, but it is a very nice moment to celebrate a little bit," the Lithuanian mastermind commented post-game.

Nevertheless, Saras was critical of his team's play in the first half, as Barca were down by 18 points. As stated by the 46-year-old, "if you come for a walk, this is what happens".

"The first half was not worthy of our club, but the reaction was very good. We have to talk about 24 points conceded in the second half. It's been a bit of a match… I don't know what to say, but it's not easy here. This basketball is not enough for the Final Four, we are not going to fool ourselves," Jasikevicius spoke.

Breogan entered the last quarter with a lead of 14 points, but could not maintain their solid advantage. The victory slipped away with only 6 points scored per 10 minutes.

"Breogan were scared to win and this helped us but it's not the level we want to show," Jasikevicius concluded and also welcomed the return of Cory Higgins.
